S – II Chronicles 7:1-2 “ When Solomon finished praying, fire flashed downfrom heaven and burned up the burnt offerings and sacrifices, and theglorious presence of the Lord filled the temple. The priests could not enterthe temple of the Lord because the glorious presence of the Lord filled it.
O – God’s presence is a consuming fire. No sin can enter where Hispresence dwells; nothing but holiness can be in His presence. God’sglorious presence filled the temple and there was no room for anything elsebut God.
A – When God’s presence dwells in us, the ‘temple’ or body of the believer, there is no place for ‘self’’. There is room only for the newly createdrighteous life that Christ gives to believers. If I want the fullness of God’spresence, I need to move all of self out of the way.
P – Holy Spirit, consume me with the burning fire of the presence of God.Fill me up with your presence so there can be no room for sin and self toreside; so there is only room for you to abide. AMEN
